He led her to the waiting area where the calves were waiting to go into the ring. "Today we'll be buying five calves. You pick them."

In the end he ended up buying 20 new calves. He paid for them and arranged to have them delivered to the farm that evening. "It'll be nice for the girls to have some new boys to play next year." He walked with Amari into the shop and handed his order to one of the clerks. While it was being loaded up into his truck he smiled at Amari. "You enjoying your day so far?"

He smiled and headed to the grocery. He pulled into the parking lot and smiled as they got out of the truck. "Feel free to put anything you want in the cart. We have three freezers full of meats, grow our own vegetables and herbs. It's mainly fruit, spices, and snacks that I pick up when I'm in town."
